MasTec Civil is currently hiring for a FDOT Roadway Quality Technician/Inspector.   The QC Technician is responsible for inspecting work as per the instructions and guidance provided by senior staff. They are also responsible for monitoring and documenting the daily events of contractors and subcontractors and notifying supervisors of any issues that may affect the project. The QC Technician must also inspect materials to ensure they conform to the plans and specifications.

They must ensure the job is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the specified quality standards. The foreman has a crucial role in ensuring the safety of his crew and himself while meeting the daily production targets set by the company. He should possess advanced skills and expertise in all aspects of his work, including cost control, scheduling, specifications, and claims management. Additionally, he is responsible for handling various documentation such as timesheets, production reports, labor reports, men-hour reports, and other essential documentation.
